Who is Ali Shekhani, the Businessman Ready to Buy K-Electric?

Ali Shekhani, a well-known US-based Pakistani businessman, has announced his plan to buy K-Electric.

In a recent video statement on social media, Shekhani said, “For the last four days, my marketing team and I have been tagged to buy K-Electric.” He explained that he asked his team to find out if K-Electric was up for sale and the procedure for purchasing this electric supply company in Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city.

Shekhani expressed his desire to buy K-Electric without bribes, stating, “I want to know where the tender will be given and who the responsible people are. We are ready to buy K-Electric without bribing anyone.”

In his message, Shekhani stressed that the citizens of Karachi should not suffer. He pointed out the struggles of people living in small houses who earn less than 40,000 rupees but receive electricity bills as high as 120,000 rupees. “I will do my best to relieve the citizens of Karachi from this torment,” he promised.

Ali Shekhani, born on October 15, 1986, is a Pakistani-American entrepreneur and investor based in Houston, Texas. He is the chairman of the Sheikhani Group of Companies. Born to Hussain Sheikhani and Shamim Bano Sheikhani in Pakistan, he completed his early education there before moving to the United States. He studied Criminal Justice & Tcole License at the University of Houston-Downtown.

Shekhani started his career as a gas station employee but soon realized his potential in business management. In 2008, he founded the Sheikhani Group and has since led it to significant success as its Chief Executive Officer. His strategic leadership has earned him a net worth of approximately USD 600 million.
