On Saturday, September 7, Deepika Padukone was admitted to Mumbai’s HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in preparation for her delivery.
Accompanied by Ranveer Singh and his family, the couple was seen arriving at the hospital.
The following day, September 8, Deepika and Ranveer shared a joint statement on Instagram announcing the birth of their daughter. Although the couple has not revealed the name of their newborn daughter, Ranveer had previously mentioned during his show “The Big Picture” that he was compiling a list of potential names for his future children.
During the promotion of his 2022 film Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer expressed his indifference to the gender of his future child, stating his only concern was the baby’s health.
The couple, who married in a scenic ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, in 2018, celebrate this new addition to their family amidst much fan excitement on social media.
