The World Blind Cricket Council has released the schedule for the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, which will start on November 23 in Lahore.
Teams from India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, and Nepal are joining the tournament, arriving by November 21. The opening ceremony is set for November 22, followed by the first match between Pakistan and South Africa. Pakistan will face their rivals, India, on November 25.
The tournament will feature 24 matches in total, with the first 15 games in Lahore and the remaining nine matches, including the semi-finals and finals, in Multan.
Pakistan, a two-time Blind Cricket World Cup champion (2002, 2006), has yet to win a T20 Blind Cricket World Cup. India claimed victory in all three previous T20 tournaments (2012, 2017, and 2022), with Pakistan reaching the finals in 2012 and 2017.
This marks Pakistan’s first time hosting the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, though it previously hosted the Event in 2006.
