The people of Sukkur, led by Sindh Government Spokesperson and Sukkur Mayor Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh, have honoured Arshad Nadeem by awarding him a gold crown. A new sports stadium in Sukkur will also be named in his honour, celebrating his outstanding achievement.
Barrister Sheikh has invited Arshad Nadeem to visit Sukkur, where he will receive the gold crown upon arrival.
He emphasized that Arshad Nadeem’s record-breaking performance has pridefully filled every Pakistani. “He has brought a beautiful gift to Pakistan, thanks to the prayers of our mothers, sisters, and the entire nation,” Barrister Sheikh said.
Earlier, the Sindh government announced a Rs50 million reward for the athlete. The Governor of Sindh also awarded Rs2 million to Arshad Nadeem. Moreover, a private TV channel owner has announced a property for Nadeem in DHA City. And an actress has pledged one million rupees to the national hero.
