Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa’s latest Punjabi comedy film, ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’, hit cinemas on Thursday with a positive reception, becoming the second biggest opener in the Punjabi film industry. Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, the movie earned Rs. 3.25 crore nett in India according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
On its opening day, the film recorded an overall Punjabi occupancy rate of 46.43%, with a notable preference for evening shows. In Chandigarh, it achieved a 55% occupancy across 173 screenings. In Delhi-NCR, despite 355 shows, the occupancy stood at 31.75%. Notably, Jalandhar and Ludhiana saw even higher interest, with occupancies exceeding 66% and showcasing 53 and 101 screenings respectively.
