Natasha Iqbal’s defense lawyer has claimed in court that she has a mental illness in the Karsaz road accident case. The lawyer argued that Natasha left home without informing her family due to her condition.
The defense lawyer asked the court not to present Natasha before the judge, citing her poor health. He stated, “My client is mentally ill, takes medication, and drove away from home without notifying anyone.”
On the other hand, the police requested a seven-day remand, but the court granted only one day.
Natasha was arrested after a road accident on Monday, where she killed a man and his daughter. The police have registered a case against her at the Bahadurabad police station.
Currently, Natasha is hospitalized with minor injuries from the accident. The incident and its details have spread widely on social media.
