    LHC Dismisses Civil Judge Over Corruption Charges

    The Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Aalia Neelum has dismissed three judicial officers over corruption charges.

    According to an official notification, civil judge Shazia Perveen has been removed from her position, while four ranks have demoted civil judge Shehbaz Hussain. Additional civil judge Abdullah Usman was fined.

    The decision was made after Chief Justice Aalia Neelum reviewed the cases, heard the judicial officers’ arguments, and examined the evidence.

    These judicial officers faced accusations of corruption and other charges, leading to their penalties.
