The Kshatriya Karni Sena has announced a hefty reward for the encounter of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The Bishnoi gang recently claimed responsibility for the assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai. In a video statement, Raj Shekhawat, national president of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, offered Rs 1,11,11,111 to any police officer who kills Bishnoi, as reported by Hindustan Times.
In his statement, Shekhawat stressed the importance of public safety and criticized the central government and Gujarat administration for handling Bishnoi’s case. The reward aims to motivate law enforcement to take action.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s Criminal History
Lawrence Bishnoi, currently held in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail for cross-border drug smuggling, has a lengthy criminal history. He was previously linked to a shooting outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence, although Mumbai police have yet to gain custody of him.
Shekhawat also accused Bishnoi of being involved in the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, a key figure in the Kshatriya Karni Sena, who was killed in Jaipur in December 2023. The Bishnoi gang took responsibility for Gogamedi’s death shortly after the incident.
