Karachi: Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odho has introduced a mobile app called “Police 15 Karachi” to help control crime and improve law and order in the city.
During a media briefing at the Airport Police Station, Odho explained that the app was designed to make it easier for citizens to reach the police in emergencies. He stressed that while the 15 emergency helpline will still be available by phone, the app offers a faster way to get help without needing to give your location, ensuring a quicker police response.
Odho encouraged citizens to download the app for timely assistance.
The app, available on Android, can be found by searching “Police 15 Karachi” in the Play Store. Users only need to register once and can get help by pressing one button without dialling Madadgar-15. The app is available for download from the Play Store link.
