Lahore: Pakistani cricket star Haris Rauf addressed rumours on social media about the birth of his child, denying the claims and urging people not to spread false information.
Rauf took to Instagram to clear up the situation, stating: “The news regarding the birth of my child is false. Please avoid spreading and trusting fake news.”
The fast bowler emphasized that any personal information not shared from an official account is merely a rumour.
The rumours began when Ehtisham Siddiqui, a cricket news sharer on the social networking site X, announced a new baby in Haris Rauf’s family. The post, which included a picture, quickly circulated across social media, leading to an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans.
Haris Rauf married his long-time friend Muzna Masood Malik in December 2022, with their wedding ceremony in July 2023.
