Fire Erupts in Multi-Storey Building on Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal

KARACHI: GRY News reported a fire in a multi-storey building on Karachi’s Sharea Faisal, damaging several offices.

According to initial details, the fire started in the Kashif Center building, which is located on the busy Sharea Faisal.

Initial reports suggest that a short circuit in the wiring caused the fire.
The blaze began in the wiring duct, and the building had no emergency exit.

The fire started on the second floor and spread to the upper floors. Multiple people are trapped inside and are currently being rescued.
Eight fire tenders and a snorkel are working to put out the fire.

Earlier this month, a fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Exchange Building in Karachi.

According to a PSX official, the fire started around 8 AM and caused some material loss.

Officials said five fire tenders, a snorkel, and a bowser were used to extinguish the blaze at the Pakistan Stock Exchange building.
Following the incident, trading was suspended at PSX but resumed at 12:25 PM.
