Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has announced plans to launch a campaign with PTI workers to demand her brother’s release.
During a visit to Peshawar and Mardan, Aleema met with imprisoned PTI workers who expressed their frustrations with the current Chief Minister and party leadership. Sources indicate that Aleema listened to the workers’ complaints and addressed their concerns in PK-83.
MNA Shandana Gulzar and PTI leader Khadija Shah were also present and shared their dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership.
PTI insiders reveal that Aleema Khan has chosen to lead the campaign for Imran Khan’s release without consulting the Chief Minister or any cabinet members. She plans to involve the workers directly in this effort.
Aleema’s visits to Gora Gattkhel tehsil in Peshawar and Mardan highlighted her displeasure with the current PTI leadership.
