Pakistani all-rounder Faheem Ashraf is now a proud father of twin boys, as confirmed by his father.
Faheem’s father shared the happy news, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome twin grandsons into our family. Both the babies and their mother are healthy.”
Faheem, who got married on November 25 last year, has been a key member of Pakistan’s national cricket team.
Fans and teammates have poured in their congratulations and good wishes for the cricketer and his family on this special occasion.
Ashraf, who began his career as a fast bowler, rose to fame with a fiery knock of 64 off 30 balls in a warm-up match during the 2017 Champions Trophy against Bangladesh. Known for his pinch-hitting abilities, Ashraf has often been compared to the famous 90s hitters.
On Pakistan’s recent tour of New Zealand, he was promoted to open the batting in an ODI but couldn’t perform as expected.
