    Coke Studio’s popular song “Piya Piya Calling” has become the first Pakistani track to earn a nomination for Song of the Year at Norway’s prestigious P3 Gold Awards.

    Producer and curator Xulfi (Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan) shared the exciting news on his Instagram story, calling P3 “Norway’s biggest radio channel.”

    The song features Norway’s Karpe, singer Delara, and Pakistani artist Kaifi Khalil. With over 14 million views on YouTube, it’s won fans globally. The hip-hop dance group Quick Style, formed by Norwegian-Pakistani twins and a Norwegian-Thai friend, also make a vibrant appearance in the video.

    This multilingual track, blending rich cultures and rhythms, quickly became a sensation in both Pakistan and Norway, resonating with audiences across borders.

    Reflecting on the song’s success, Xulfi said, “We never expected this journey to unfold in our lives.” He added, “When you push boundaries for love and art, the universe gives back the same love and art.”

    Xulfi also shared a voting link on social media, inviting fans to support “Piya Piya Calling” for the win.
