Karachi: According to GRY News, the Sindh Transport Department is launching three new routes for the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi starting this month.

Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that the new routes include Hawksbay to Tower, which will begin on July 22, and an extension of Route 12.

Starting July 23, the Peoples Bus will operate from Qaidabad, Korangi, and Memon Goth to Tower, replacing the previous Khokhrapar route.

An electric bus route from Kathore to Numaish will be introduced on July 24, followed by a new route from Yousuf Goth to Tower on July 25.

Minister Memon emphasized that these new routes aim to provide affordable transportation to Karachi’s residents.

Moreover, the department plans to introduce more buses and routes to improve the city’s public transport system.

Last month, the Sindh government also announced new routes for the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi.

During a meeting attended by elected MPAs from Karachi, the deputy mayor, and others, new routes were planned for Malir, Kemari, Lyari, and the city’s western district. One of the new routes will run from Numaish to Hawksbay.
